Role Overview

The AI Business Analyst role bridges business goals with artificial intelligence capabilities, pinpointing key opportunities and designing intelligent process solutions. This position entails a strategic influence on the adoption of AI at scale, driving client business advantage and operational effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, engineers, and AI experts, gaining exposure to advanced AI tools and approaches while becoming a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to identify AI and automation prospects across various organizational levels.
• Design AI-powered solutions by gathering functional, non-functional, and AI-specific requirements, including crafting context for large language models, prompt libraries, and AI agent workflows.
• Create detailed deliverables such as epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria translating business goals into actionable development tasks.
• Analyze and optimize business processes, mapping customer journeys and future operating models to integrate intelligent automation for improved efficiency and value.
• Assess and recommend AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others, considering their compatibility with existing systems.
• Establish success criteria by defining metrics and KPIs, ensuring AI solutions comply with governance, privacy, and responsible AI standards.
• Support agile processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, user acceptance testing, and readiness preparation for smooth transition from design to deployment.
• Promote AI adoption and oversee change management initiatives by providing training, eliminating obstacles, and enhancing organizational AI capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated business analysis expertise combined with practical experience deploying AI tools, balancing traditional BA methodologies and modern AI knowledge.
• Skilled in business discovery, requirements engineering, and stakeholder management within complex digital transformation projects.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps, alongside emerging competencies in prompt and context engineering for AI.
• Experience in regulated sectors like financial services or insurance is advantageous, including knowledge of responsible AI governance, change management, and scalable adoption.

• Identify and measure AI opportunities that yield significant business benefits.
• Drive organization-wide AI adoption through effective change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Enhance productivity and operational processes via intelligent automation and AI-driven redesign.
• Ensure delivery of secure, compliant AI solutions aligned with governance and ethical AI principles.
• Establish strong advisory relationships with senior leaders and earn recognition as an expert in AI-enabled business transformation.

Work Environment and Leadership

This position is located in Dublin and follows a hybrid working arrangement blending office collaboration, client visits, and remote activities. The hiring manager is a seasoned AI and Strategy leader known for encouraging mentorship, continuous learning, bold innovation, and maintaining high standards of responsible AI practice.

Compensation and Benefits
