Affiliate Specialist

About the Role

BettingJobs is collaborating with a rapidly expanding betting exchange to appoint an Affiliate Specialist responsible for the comprehensive development and oversight of its affiliate and partner ecosystem in South Africa. This pivotal position involves leading the affiliate channel from initial recruitment through onboarding to overseeing commercial arrangements, performance analytics, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, onboard, and engage affiliates, tipsters, content platforms, and influencers active in the South African betting sector.
• Establish and negotiate commercial agreements including CPA, revenue sharing, and hybrid models.
• Oversee affiliate tracking, generate detailed reports, and coordinate payment processes via the affiliate platform.
• Ensure the quality of affiliate traffic, detect fraudulent activities, and guarantee adherence to advertising regulations pertaining to gambling.
• Expand the affiliate channel to significantly contribute to new customer acquisition and improve betting exchange liquidity.
• Provide comprehensive performance reports highlighting ROI and attribution metrics.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses more than three years of experience in affiliate management, with a preference for backgrounds in betting, gaming, or fintech industries.
• Has a pre-existing network of affiliates, tipsters, or content publishers within the South African betting market.
• Demonstrates strong commercial negotiation skills coupled with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Familiar with South African gambling advertising standards and ensures compliance with age restrictions (18+).
