About Alrayana Charter School and Aldar Education

Role Overview
This role offers the opportunity to support the Secondary Leadership Team and contribute to administrative efficiency within the Secondary Academy. Candidates are expected to align with the school's core values and demonstrate respect and understanding of the local cultural context.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all administration team meetings.
- Prepare and format official documents and correspondence addressed to Secondary parents.
- Manage and respond to emails on behalf of the Secondary Leadership Team as appropriate.
- Coordinate communication with teaching and non-teaching staff, addressing queries within assigned responsibilities.
- Act as a liaison point between the Secondary Academy and Aldar Headquarters for related tasks.
- Develop new document templates to enhance the Secondary Academy's operational effectiveness.
- Attend necessary trainings pertinent to administrative support in the Secondary division.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new staff members, including induction, arrival, and accommodation arrangements.
- Maintain accurate, current records of all Secondary students using the Engage system.
- Assist in preparing for Secondary Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs).
- Execute mail merge operations to create personalized communications for parents and upload these to the Document Management System.
- Handle all communications to Secondary parents regarding homework, educational trips, and event invitations.
- Ensure fire registers for the Secondary School are current and precise.
- Process student leaver forms school-wide, update records in Engage, and forward information to Admissions.
- Coordinate coverage arrangements for absent Secondary teachers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum educational qualification of “O” Levels, NVQ, High School Diploma, or an equivalent (with attested certificates).
- At least one year of experience in administrative roles.
Skills and Personal Attributes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong literacy skills with excellent command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Good interpersonal qualities, including motivation, resilience, patience, and adaptability.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative.
- Capacity to efficiently manage multiple responsibilities and start contributing immediately.
