Role Overview
The Accounts Receivable Manager will take charge of the entire Accounts Receivable function within the CA ANZ Group, operating from the Wellington office and reporting directly to the Manager Transactional Services. This leadership position steers a team of about five members, focusing on delivering precise, prompt, and client-oriented AR services.
Key Duties
- Lead and nurture the AR team, promoting a cooperative and customer-first work environment.
- Manage end-to-end AR operations including member subscriptions, non-subscription billing, collections, refunds, and adjustments.
- Champion ongoing enhancements by spotting opportunities for automation, process optimization, and system upgrades.
- Oversee reporting and performance metrics, utilizing data insights to monitor risk and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Finance, Member teams, and other stakeholders on billing and AR issues.
- Ensure excellence in operations, safeguarding database integrity, monthly processing accuracy, adherence to compliance, and delivering high service standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years managing Accounts Receivable functions, with demonstrated accuracy and efficiency.
- Experienced in leading teams, skilled in coaching and developing high-performing personnel.
- In-depth knowledge of billing, AR procedures, and fundamental accounting principles.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in the use of data to guide decision-making and improvement.
- Skilled in documenting processes, standardization, and fostering continuous improvement.
- Adept at handling fast-paced, high-pressure work environments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Salesforce and NetSuite is beneficial.
