About the Role
We invite an experienced professional to take charge of both financial accounting and human resource functions. This role requires a candidate skilled in finance, taxation, payroll management, and HR operations, capable of independently managing diverse tasks efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain precise accounting records and oversee daily financial activities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable along with supplier account reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit GST and TDS returns while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Conduct monthly TDS calculations and manage related tax documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain ledgers.
- Compile financial statements such as MIS reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
- Assist during internal, statutory, and audit processes.
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and regulations.
- Operate ERP or accounting software systems.
- Liaise with auditors and support corporate financial reporting.
Human Resources Duties:
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department managers for workforce planning.
- Conduct induction programs and maintain employee onboarding processes.
- Maintain comprehensive employee records and HR databases.
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely salary payment.
- Administer attendance, leave tracking, employee incentives, and reimbursements.
- Manage statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, and Professional Tax compliance.
- Support performance reviews and appraisals.
- Address employee grievances and resolve workplace conflicts.
- Conduct exit processing and support disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Maintain HR policies ensuring compliance with labor legislation.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Practical experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficient with accounting software like Tally or ERP systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of HR processes, payroll systems, and labor laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks independently with good analytical skills.
- Problem-solving orientation under time constraints.
