Overview
Prime Tiles & Floorings is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Accounts Executive to oversee daily accounting duties at our tiles and granite showroom located in Bengaluru. This role requires proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and fundamental bookkeeping to maintain precise financial records and support overall financial management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Enter sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries using Tally software.
- Manage bookkeeping and maintain comprehensive account books.
- Reconcile petty cash expenses on a daily basis.
- Verify and document supplier invoices and customer payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized purchase and sales documentation.
- Assist in preparing GST-related data and coordinate with the company's Chartered Accountant as needed.
- Keep well-organized physical and digital financial documents including bills, invoices, and vouchers.
- Generate basic accounting reports as requested by management.
- Support accounting of inventory-related entries when required.
- Ensure all accounting activities are accurate, confidential, and completed on time.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in Tally ERP or TallyPrime accounting software.
- Skilled in MS Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, sorting, and filtering.
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts and bookkeeping methods.
- Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Organized and capable of working independently with reliability and integrity.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) preferred.
- Additional accounting or Tally certifications/diplomas viewed positively.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience; freshers with strong Tally knowledge are also welcome.
