Role Overview
This full-time, on-site role in Düsseldorf focuses on supporting everyday accounting tasks such as invoice processing, transaction recording, ledger maintenance, and assisting with monthly and yearly financial closings. The role involves reconciling accounts, preparing basic financial reports, assisting in financial statement preparation, and ensuring compliance with both internal controls and relevant local regulations. Collaboration with the finance team, handling inquiries, and managing accounting documentation and data entry are integral parts of the job.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related roles.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and bookkeeping methods.
- Preference for proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- High attention to detail combined with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an international team.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Knowledge of German is beneficial; Japanese language skills are an added advantage.
- Relevant vocational training or degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar disciplines.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors is an asset.
Employment Terms
The position is offered initially as a fixed-term contract lasting between 3 to 6 months, with a possible extension up to 12 months. Exceptional performance and business requirements may lead to a permanent full-time employment offer.
