Role Overview
Bright House RealEstate is seeking a full-time Accountant to join their team at the Jeddah office. The role entails managing daily financial activities, such as documenting financial transactions, upholding the general ledger, and preparing periodic financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and invoice processing.
- Assist in payroll processing and budget preparation.
- Monitor expenses and contribute to audit support.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and local regulations in Jeddah.
- Produce management reports to aid decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments and address financial inquiries.
- Enhance financial operations and internal controls.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in core accounting functions such as ledger management, financial statement crafting, and account reconciliations.
- Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data.
- Experience with accounting and ERP software systems alongside advanced MS Excel capabilities.
- Understanding of applicable accounting standards and financial compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and integrity in financial records handling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to engage with various stakeholders.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining confidentiality in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications like CPA or CMA are advantageous.
- Previous accounting experience specifically within the Real Estate management sector is required.
