Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Month End, Quarter End, and Year End closing procedures for multiple European subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and record general ledger transactions both monthly and at period ends.
  • Handle and submit all required government tax returns.
  • Support interim and annual audit tasks, including preparing audit files, acting as the primary liaison with auditors, and preparing statutory year-end reports.
  • Compile and verify balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial statements, ensuring precision in all entries.
  • Manage accruals and prepayments effectively.
  • Oversee routine finance operations such as employee expense processing, cash flow management, and monthly payroll administration.
  • Identify opportunities for continual enhancement of finance processes and internal controls.
