Accountant / Accounts Executive

Overview

GoldenValley Homes Private Limited, based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, is seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Accountant / Accounts Executive to oversee daily accounting functions and manage financial records effectively. The role demands strong accounting expertise, organizational capabilities, and the aptitude to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily accounting books and record financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and record payment transactions systematically.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently to ensure smooth cash flow.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and handle cash flow monitoring regularly.
• Process GST returns, TDS deductions, and ensure adherence to statutory compliances.
• Maintain ledgers, balance sheets, and produce detailed financial reports.
• Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing procedures.
• Liaise with auditors, banking institutions, and governmental bodies for compliance and verification.
• Maintain well-organized documentation and filing of all financial records.
• Provide financial analysis support and management information system (MIS) reports for decision-making.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the accounting field.
• Skilled in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and usage of accounting software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GST, TDS, RERA filings, and taxation regulations.
• Strong analytical mindset complemented by effective communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Applicants with previous experience in the Real Estate or Construction sectors will be prioritized. Expertise in project accounting, vendor payments, client collections, and statutory compliance linked with real estate projects will be advantageous.
