Overview
This role, based in Germany and offered through a partner company, is focused on managing and enhancing payment operations within a dynamic digital environment. The Account Payments Specialist will ensure payment processes are efficient and reliable, working closely with both internal teams and external payment service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee payment success rates across various payment methods and solutions.
- Conduct detailed analyses to improve payment approval rates and operational effectiveness.
- Configure and maintain payment systems to sustain smooth transaction flows.
- Address and resolve payment-related inquiries and requests from internal departments.
- Liaise with external payment vendors to troubleshoot issues and boost operational processes.
- Drive initiatives to optimize and automate workflows related to payment operations.
- Continuously monitor payment performance indicators and propose data-driven enhancements.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in payment systems administration or operations.
- Familiarity with the comprehensive payment process from selecting payment methods to transaction completion.
- Knowledge of essential payment metrics such as transaction success percentages.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve root causes.
- Competency in handling large datasets to extract actionable insights.
- Usage experience with ticketing tools like Jira or Freshdesk.
- Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Professional-level fluency in English.
- Bonus skills include understanding JSON, API integrations, AI-driven automation tools, cryptocurrency payments, Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Experience in the iGaming industry is advantageous.
