Position Overview

The Mid-Market Sales team at Atlassian manages a portfolio of medium-sized customers across Australia and New Zealand, focusing on identifying cloud-first opportunities, expanding user engagement, and building strong customer relationships. Emphasizing collaboration with Channel Partners, Account Managers, Solution Engineers, and Deal Desk teams, the role centers on guiding customers to maximize the value of Atlassian products while actively contributing customer insights to improve product and service quality.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create and implement Account and Territory plans to drive revenue growth within the ANZ mid-market segment across the Atlassian product suite.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts within Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop trusted client relationships by comprehensively understanding business needs and delivering customized solutions through product demonstrations, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Channel Partners, Account Managers, Solution Engineers, and Deal Desk to ensure seamless customer interactions and elevated customer success.
  • Maintain precise sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and update CRM systems with accurate data.
  • Keep updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities in the ANZ region.
  • Occasionally travel within the ANZ markets for meetings, events, and team collaborations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in enterprise software sales with a proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Successful experience in expanding mid-market accounts and closing strategic sales engagements, preferably within the ANZ market.
  • Strong knowledge of the ANZ business environment, purchasing cycles, and partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to construct detailed territory and strategic account plans and lead cross-functional teams to achieve customer objectives.
  • Consultative sales approach geared towards identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Proficient in utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools for tracking performance and sales activities.
  • Positive collaborator contributing actively to team culture and success.
