Account Executive (Accounting)

Overview

Mansarovar Enterprises is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in Chennai. This role involves managing daily accounting activities and collaborating closely with vendors and clients through professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks utilizing Tally software.
• Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Support Income Tax Return preparation, profit and loss statements, and finalizing balance sheets.
• Manage vouchers, follow up on payments, and handle vendor account reconciliations.
• Maintain petty cash records and validate all supporting documentation.
• Create reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Handle professional email correspondence with vendors and clients.
• Additional knowledge such as EPF filing, electronic invoice generation, and property tax handling is advantageous.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related discipline.
• Preferably have 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Proficient in using Tally, GST compliance, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with solid documentation capabilities.
• Prior exposure working in an auditor's office is considered a plus.

Additional Information
