A-Player Video Editor for E-commerce & Private School Projects

Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and highly skilled video editor to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at Commerce, MI. This long-term role involves contributing to two important projects: a dynamic e-commerce brand and a prestigious private school in the Netherlands with a rich history since 1947. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from $1,500 to $2,500, dependent on experience, quality, speed, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce approximately 25 videos weekly for the e-commerce project, including voice-over ads, AI-generated UGC ads, VSL and mini-VSL video advertisements, and direct-response e-commerce content.
• Conduct thorough independent research to source or create appropriate B-roll footage that perfectly complements scripts and voice-overs by using competitor analyses, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon listings, social platforms, and AI tools for image and video generation.
• Maintain the accuracy of visual storytelling by matching every B-roll segment precisely to the corresponding voice-over or script section with attention to detail.
• Create about 5 weekly polished, professional videos for the private school project, adapting editing style to reflect the school's trusted and established reputation.
• Develop multiple creative variations of videos using different hooks, talking heads, subtitles, and B-roll to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality edits while adhering to creative frameworks, deadlines, and feedback for approximately 30 videos per week across both projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive professional video editing experience with a verifiable portfolio showcasing personal work.
• Proficiency in editing various video formats including e-commerce ads, voice-over content, AI-driven UGC videos, and educational films.
• Strong skills in performing competitor research to identify successful visual storytelling methods and sourcing relevant B-roll content.
• Experience leveraging AI technologies for generating images, video footage, talking heads, and related visuals.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities, pacing, retention editing skills, and the capacity to produce accurate subtitles.
• Ability to work independently, solve creative challenges, manage multiple projects efficiently, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Excellent communication, reliability, and openness to constructive feedback.
