About the Role
Join Sunlight Sports Studio LLP as a 3D Artist / CG Generalist, contributing your expertise to create visually impactful 3D models and animations primarily for sports-related digital campaigns and brand activations. The role involves crafting characters, environments, and props with advanced 3D software, supporting production workflows, and developing animated visual content for product promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 3D models, textures, and renders of characters, settings, and props using ZBrush or Blender.
- Apply skills in Marvelous Designer, Unreal Engine, or Houdini to enhance 3D production pipelines.
- Utilize Substance Painter or similar programs for texturing, and leverage Nuke or Fusion for compositing and look development.
- Create dynamic 3D motion graphics, cinematic loops, and animated visuals suited for product teasers and branding campaigns.
- Convert 2D concept art and abstract ideas into engaging, fully realized 3D models and environments tailored to the target audience.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or have a portfolio in animation, 3D design, game art, or visual effects (VFX).
- Have 1 to 2 years of experience as a professional 3D artist or CG generalist with a strong portfolio demonstrating skills across modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation.
- Proficient with industry-leading 3D software, especially Blender and Substance Painter for texturing purposes.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity and compositing software like After Effects is a bonus.
