About the internship
Internship Overview
This internship involves engaging with borrowers via phone to facilitate the recovery of pending loan repayments. Interns will handle a portfolio primarily consisting of commercial vehicle loans and are expected to maintain regular contact with the borrowers to ensure timely collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate calls to borrowers aimed at recovering outstanding loan amounts.
- Oversee commercial vehicle loan accounts and perform consistent follow-ups.
- Record detailed information about calls, payment plans, and collection status in the designated application.
- Monitor repayment schedules and continue sustained borrower communication.
- Strive to meet daily and monthly collection targets assigned by the company.
- Collaborate with internal departments to update case progress, address issues, and facilitate repossession procedures when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to process guidelines, audit standards, and company policies throughout all tasks.
- Engage in repayment negotiations and support restructuring efforts for overdue accounts.
- Ensure precise documentation and facilitate prompt resolution and closing of cases.
