Role Summary
The trainee will assist prospective students throughout their admission process, understanding their academic and career aspirations, sharing detailed program insights, and guiding them towards suitable educational paths. Close collaboration with the admissions team is essential to ensure a smooth and engaging learner experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage prospective learners through calls, online meetings, and digital communications.
- Assess learners' educational background, interests, and goals.
- Present detailed information on IIDE’s programs, certification offerings, fee structures, and admission procedures.
- Provide accurate responses to learner inquiries and help them choose the best-fit programs.
- Maintain a professional, learner-centric approach throughout the admission journey.
- Build and sustain positive rapport with prospects through timely follow-ups.
- Document learner interactions meticulously in the CRM system.
- Liaise with internal departments to guarantee a seamless admission and onboarding experience.
- Promote ongoing learner engagement with personalized communication.
- Attend structured sessions to enhance counselling, communication, and sales capabilities.
- Contribute to the admission team’s enrolment targets.
- Embrace continuous improvement through coaching and feedback.
- Stay informed on program updates and industry trends to offer relevant learner guidance.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Undergraduate or postgraduate students, or recent graduates in any discipline.
- Availability for a part-time internship spanning 3 months starting between July 14 and August 18, 2026.
- Commitment to at least 6 hours per day working onsite in Mumbai.
- Interest in admissions, student engagement, education sales, business development, or customer success roles.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in engaging with students and nurturing meaningful connections.
- A positive mindset, adaptability, eagerness to learn, and an ability to thrive in goal-driven and dynamic settings.
