About the Role and Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate utilities to ensure continuous functioning of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Water Treatment Plant systems including equipment such as equalization tanks, anoxic tanks, drum screens, aeration systems, clarifiers/settling tanks, decanters, blower rooms, multimedia filters (MMF), water filtration, and chlorine systems, maintaining all in safe and optimal working condition.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep mechanical and electrical assets in excellent condition.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards for electrical and mechanical operations, including consumption control.
  • Follow maintenance protocols including corrective, preventive, scheduled maintenance, and Kanban systems.
  • Execute daily routine tasks such as monitoring plant parameters, conducting laboratory analyses, maintaining detailed reports and records, and upholding cleanliness and housekeeping in operational areas.
  • Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines and procedures.
  • Handle chemicals, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) properly to ensure workplace safety.
  • Comply with food safety standards, including HACCP and pre-requisites relevant to the workplace.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and 5S methodology are followed within the working environment.
  • Support and implement BRF’s Sustainability Policy by aligning daily activities with global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments and sustainability plans, fostering responsible and sustainable development throughout the BRF chain.

Requirements

  • Completion of a minimum two-year technical diploma or course in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or foundational studies in Environmental or Chemical disciplines.
