Workday Developer

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Workday Developer to join their team in the Greater Kolkata Area. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Core HCM, Payroll, Workday Studio, and BIRT. This role requires hands-on experience in full lifecycle development of Workday integrations and advanced reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep knowledge in Workday Core HCM, benefits management, payroll processing, Studio, and BIRT modules.
• Lead the development of Workday Studio integrations from inception through deployment, ensuring adherence to release processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize Workday Core HCM and performance processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, developing and implementing required changes.
• Develop, test, and deploy integrations, applying best practices in configurations, business processes, and overall Workday standards.
• Modify existing Workday configurations and create new configurations within the HCM module.
• Design and develop Workday reports including advanced, custom, matrix, and trending reports, utilizing XML and XSLT technologies.
• Provide a well-rounded, proactive approach to step in and contribute immediately to project goals.

Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in Workday HCM and Payroll modules.
• Proficient with Workday Studio for building complex integrations.
• Strong experience with Workday BIRT report development.
• Knowledge of Workday integrations including Core connectors, EIBs, Studio, and Payroll processes.
• Familiarity with advanced reporting techniques and XML/XSLT.
• Experience leading software development lifecycles and following release procedures.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant Workday development experience.
