Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable and diligent Warehouse Operative to become a vital part of our team. The role encompasses tasks such as receiving, organizing, and dispatching merchandise efficiently. Success in this position demands keen attention to detail, the capacity to perform under a fast-paced warehouse setting, and dedication to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments and arrange them properly for storage.
- Precisely select and package orders for shipment.
- Utilize warehouse machinery including forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
- Keep accurate inventory documentation and ensure proper stock placement.
- Perform consistent stock counts and communicate any inconsistencies found.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, eliminating hazards.
- Help with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Always adhere to established health and safety guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior work experience within a warehouse or a comparable environment is necessary.
- Physical capability to lift and handle heavy objects is required.
