Job description
Overview and Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Executive at Warehousing Express Logistics Private Limited based in Chandigarh you will be responsible for overseeing various warehouse operations ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. This includes managing vehicle loading and unloading activities while verifying all related documents such as invoices challans e-Way Bills and GRNs. You will maintain meticulous warehouse records and documentation to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Daily warehouse functions such as receiving storage picking packing and dispatch will be supervised with a focus on adhering to FIFO and LIFO inventory management practices as well as maintaining 5S organizational standards. You will also be tasked with ensuring warehouse safety cleanliness and discipline at all times.
Regular inventory management activities including conducting stock verifications on daily weekly and monthly bases will be performed with accuracy maintained through WMS or ERP systems. You will be responsible for identifying resolving stock discrepancies promptly.
Audit readiness will be vital with the maintenance of pertinent documentation to satisfy customer requirements and alignment with company standard operating procedures. All safety and quality norms must be observed consistently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a crucial requirement where you will use advanced features such as VLOOKUP pivot tables IF formulas conditional formatting as well as data analysis and MIS reporting to monitor key performance indicators including turnaround time stock accuracy dispatch accuracy and overall warehouse productivity.
You will also lead and manage a team comprising warehouse executives supervisors loaders pickers and helpers. Responsibilities encompass training monitoring performance coordinating with manpower vendors arranging forklifts and hydra machines and liaising with customers and transporters to ensure hassle-free operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in 3PL or Logistics warehouse operations with robust knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control. Familiarity with WMS or ERP platforms is essential along with advanced Excel and MIS reporting capabilities. Strong communication skills and leadership qualities are mandatory to independently manage warehouse activities effectively.
