VMC Machine Operator

Position Overview

We seek experienced CNC operators specializing in Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to efficiently operate and set up machines with precision and technical expertise. Candidates must be adept at interpreting engineering drawings, choosing appropriate tools, and maintaining dimensional accuracy to ensure quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and configure VMC machines according to drawings and procedural specifications.
• Use precision measuring devices such as vernier calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Maintain product quality and prepare daily production documentation.
• Adhere to workshop safety and housekeeping protocols consistently.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Extensive proficiency in CNC VMC machine operation.
• Strong ability to read and analyze engineering drawings.
• Basic knowledge of G and M code programming.
• Preferred experience of 5 to 7 years in related roles.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to work rotational night shifts to meet production demands.

Additional Information

Experience working with varied material types and foundational programming skills for CNC machines are advantageous.
