Visual Designer - Digital Product Designer (Visual Design)

About the Role

As part of the Online Banking Team, this Visual Designer will contribute to crafting enhanced digital servicing experiences by developing streamlined self-service online banking functionalities that meet client banking needs. This contract role based in Toronto involves working onsite four days a week with an expected duration over 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visual design expertise for the Digital Servicing Team supporting three agile squads.
• Create clear visual hierarchies to ensure users engage intuitively and meaningfully with digital banking products.
• Participate actively in ideation and collaborative sessions, offering design perspectives to broaden team insights.

Qualifications

• Skillful in simplifying complex information for user comprehension.
• Willingness to deeply understand intricate business requirements within banking regulations.
• Competency in component- and module-based design, with advanced proficiency in Figma and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with large design teams and multiple stakeholder interactions (product, business, technical) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with design research methodologies.
• Knowledge of employing journey maps and storyboards as storytelling tools in design.
• Effective presentation capabilities.
