Overview
Our private investment fund is actively searching for innovative early-stage startups within the longevity field to support with investment and acceleration opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify promising deal flows and foster strong relationships with startups, entrepreneurial scientists, venture capitalists, family offices, and investment syndicates within the longevity domain.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of longevity industry trends to provide insightful recommendations that keep the fund ahead of developments.
- Represent the fund at relevant industry conferences and events to discover startups and pre-startup research projects that could evolve into startups.
- Coordinate and manage speaking engagements for the Founder at industry events.
- Assist in shaping a business model for a longevity-focused holding company, emphasizing technology acquisitions, research and development, and startup investments.
- Perform additional administrative and logistical duties as required to support the fund's activities.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates a strong personal passion for longevity and a solid grasp of early-stage startup ecosystems.
- Experienced in delivering successful outreach to numerous warm leads, managing teams, and communicating effectively.
- Adaptable to a chaotic and unpredictable work environment, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly mobile and responsive, willing to undertake any assigned task without regard to perceived importance.
Additional Information
This is a fully remote contract position. The company operates offshore with a remote team that occasionally meets in person at various conferences. No office space is provided.

Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in longevity-related STEM fields such as biology, medicine, pharmacology, biochemistry, genomics, or computational biology.
- Preferably experience involved with early-stage or growth-stage startups or research projects that have obtained grants, awards, or other non-equity funding.
- Extensive network within the longevity community and the ability to utilize these connections to identify promising startups.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools intelligently.
- Excellent communication skills with perfect English fluency; proficiency in additional major global languages is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a team environment without traditional corporate structures or processes.
