Overview
This role is for a UX Researcher, Data Analyst & Optimization Specialist based in Ireland, blending UX research, data analysis, and digital optimization to enable smarter decision-making through data-driven insights. You will convert user behavior data into practical recommendations that boost customer experience and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain detailed customer journey maps and analyze conversion funnels at various critical user interaction points.
- Detect friction points and customer drop-offs via thorough user behavior investigations.
- Perform quantitative data analysis utilizing platforms such as Google Analytics 4 and Shopify analytics.
- Construct and update lifetime value (LTV) cohort analyses to relate UX enhancements to sustained customer value.
- Guarantee data accuracy and integrity throughout data collection and interpretation of performance metrics.
- Apply statistical methods to validate findings and ensure data-backed recommendations.
- Execute qualitative research including usability testing, heuristic reviews, and user interviews.
- Integrate qualitative insights with quantitative data for a comprehensive understanding of user actions.
- Develop UX artifacts like user flows, journey maps, wireflows, and prototypes to clearly communicate research discoveries.
- Work alongside developers to implement event tracking and enhance analytics infrastructure, ensuring ongoing data visibility and quality assurance for custom event tracking and funnels.
- Contribute to A/B testing programs by framing hypotheses, measuring results, and interpreting business impact.
- Assess the longer-term effects of UX changes on conversion rates, retention, and customer value.
- Prepare clear analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex analyses into actionable business insights.
- Collaborate with UX, design, development, and project teams to convert findings into implemented improvements.
- Manage multiple projects, balancing research and analysis tasks aligned with business priorities.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 4 and 7 years of experience in e-commerce, UX research, product or data analytics, or related areas.
- Proficient with Google Analytics, Shopify platforms, and A/B testing tools.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative analytics, statistics, and visualization methods.
- Skilled in journey mapping, funnel and LTV cohort analysis.
- Experienced in designing experiments with sound hypothesis formulation and testing strategies.
- Deep understanding of user-centered principles and design thinking approaches.
- Ability to combine qualitative and quantitative research techniques to resolve complex challenges.
- Experienced in generating reports, dashboards, and effective presentations to communicate insights.
- Capable of creating wireframes, prototypes, and detailed user flows and wireflows.
- Proven collaboration skills with developers, designers, and project managers.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-directed with aptitude for managing multiple priorities under strategic guidance.
- Experience dealing with multiple clients or projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is advantageous.
