About the Role
Join a leading logistics company in Hazelmere, Western Australia, as a Transport Scheduler, playing a crucial role in maintaining smooth bulk fuel operations. This position requires working a continuous weekly roster (Tuesday to Monday), starting at 5:30 am on 12-hour shifts. The role focuses on driving high safety standards, promoting a zero-accident vision, and ensuring efficient scheduling and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold and promote the company's safety standards and vision ZERO daily.
- Coordinate fuel delivery schedules to maximize timeliness and cost-efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery documentation and customer invoicing.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Support fleet maintenance scheduling and manage roster changes as needed.
- Regularly review rosters to ensure accuracy and adequate coverage aligning with customer demand.
- Oversee driver training records and arrange necessary training sessions.
- Monitor vehicle and driver compliance with schedules and fatigue regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a problem-solving approach in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
- Possess a team-oriented mindset with structured scheduling and logistical abilities.
- Show commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in transport scheduling or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Analytical capabilities for data interpretation and trend identification.
- Well-versed in Western Australian transport regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Customer-focused with sound decision-making aptitude.
