Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Tour Coordinator based in Guwahati to manage planning, organizing, and overseeing travel tours and itineraries. Daily responsibilities include arranging bookings for transportation, lodging, and activities, handling tour schedules, and ensuring smooth operational logistics. This role involves constant communication with customers, vendors, and partners to confirm bookings, answer queries, and resolve issues pre-trip and during tours. The Tour Coordinator also offers pre-travel advice, distributes detailed tour information, keeps accurate documentation, and supports sales by promoting packages and facilitating reservations. Collaboration with team members to enhance tour options and customer satisfaction is vital.
Key Qualifications
- Skills in guided tours and event management for planning and coordinating itinerary activities effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service aptitude for engaging with travelers, suppliers, and collaborators.
- Sales proficiency to present tour packages, manage bookings, and contribute to business growth.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple tours and logistical arrangements.
- Knowledge of computer basics and booking platforms; familiarity with travel-related software is advantageous.
- Understanding of tourist attractions in North-East India and nearby regions.
- Capability to work on-site, adapt swiftly to changing scenarios, and resolve problems tactfully and efficiently.
- Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or tourism coordination preferred; a relevant diploma or degree adds value.
