Tender Manager - UAV

Role Overview

We are seeking a diligent Tender Manager specialized in UAVs to join our team in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This full-time position requires a professional with 2 to 4 years of experience in managing government, defence, public sector undertaking (PSU), and Government e-Marketplace (GeM) tenders.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of government, defence, PSU, and GeM tenders from identification to submission.
• Scout and identify suitable tender opportunities, preparing both technical and commercial bids accordingly.
• Develop detailed technical Bills of Materials (BOMs), compliance documents, specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and comprehensive commercial bids.
• Collaborate with government and defence stakeholders during pre-bid meetings, technical discussions, inspections, demonstrations, and for clarifications.
• Coordinate internally among R&D, Technical, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to collate required details for tender processes.
• Maintain tracking systems for tender deadlines, corrigenda, submissions, and fulfill post-award requisites.
• Assist in contract execution stages, including inspection, delivery, and related documentation after tender award.

Experience and Skills Required

• Between 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in managing government and defence tenders.
• Proficient use of GeM and other government tender portals for bid submissions.
• Solid understanding of tender documentation protocols, compliance standards, and bidding procedures.
• Effective communication and coordination skills supported by strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior exposure or experience in UAV/Drone technology, defence, electronics, robotics, or aerospace domains is highly desirable.

Preferred Background Exposure

• Experience working with Army, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), PSUs, GeM, and various government departments is advantageous.
