Technician

Role Overview

The Technician is primarily responsible for executing top-quality repairs and maintenance tasks with a strong technical skillset and a business-oriented approach. This role aims to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, timely work completion, and workplace safety by adhering to established procedures, standards, and guidelines. The Technician plays a key role in promoting both company profitability and road safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prior to maintenance or repairs, ensure the availability of accurate information, correct tools, and necessary spare parts.
• During maintenance or repair, carry out tasks punctually and safely, following well-established working methods and standards.
• After the job, minimize invoicing lead times by providing detailed descriptions of work performed and communicating any pending actions when handing over tasks.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Matric certificate, N3 qualification, or equivalent educational certification.
• Qualified Diesel Technician with a valid Trade Test Certificate.
• At least 3 years of non-negotiable experience in repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles in a workshop environment.
• Residency within Botswana is required.
• A minimum of one year tenure in the current employment position to qualify for application.
