Technical Publications Officer - Rotary Wing

Overview

Qatar Airways is hiring a Technical Publications Officer for its rotary wing operations in Doha, Qatar. This role sits within the Engineering function and focuses on keeping technical publication and library workflows accurate, organized, and available to Maintenance and CAMO teams so they can carry out their work effectively.

Core duties

• Receive and file all required technical publications in a timely manner.
• Track, register, and circulate technical documents through periodic transmittal letters.
• Handle the download and distribution of Airworthiness Authority Requirements and manufacturer updates such as SBs, CMMs, and similar documents.
• Keep the document circulation process current and well controlled.
• Maintain the company’s file servers as well as hardcopy library records.
• Support QCAA or Technical Compliance teams during technical library audits.
• Coordinate and send fuel carnets to the correct aircraft.
• Work with manufacturers regarding technical publication requirements.
• Assist the Airworthiness Manager and Senior Manager CAMO with their responsibilities.

Qualifications and skills

• A Diploma or Associate Degree in Aeronautical studies, or a similar qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in documentation and publication processes related to rotary wing operations.
• Practical working knowledge of Trax or AMOS.
• Strong overall understanding of helicopter aviation.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• High accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail when completing tasks.
