Technical Office Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Office Manager specialized in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to oversee and coordinate the technical office functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all activities related to the technical office, including documentation and reporting processes.
• Act as the liaison among engineering teams, project management, and on-site personnel to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Review and verify technical drawings, designs, and specifications within electrical and mechanical domains.
• Handle all aspects of technical documentation, project schedules, and requirements.
• Assist in preparing project plans, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and other technical submissions.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant standards, codes, and project-specific specifications.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 15 years of pertinent industry experience.
• In-depth understanding of technical office protocols and managing project documentation.
• Strong communication abilities and effective coordination skills.
• Capability to handle various tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical office teams.
• Familiarity with project management software and systems for drawing and document control.
• Background in managing projects within industrial, construction, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) sectors.
