Role Overview
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager based in Mumbai with 11 to 15 years of experience, who will lead recruitment initiatives focused on lateral, leadership, and niche hiring across diverse business units. This role is pivotal for talent strategy execution and maintaining excellent candidate experiences aligned with Deloitte's growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to attract and hire top-tier talent while ensuring a superior candidate experience.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for lateral roles, leadership positions, and specialized skill sets across multiple service lines and functions.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to assess workforce needs, hiring priorities, and develop tailored talent acquisition strategies.
- Design and implement innovative sourcing approaches utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals, social media, networking, and market mapping techniques.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill roles to meet both current and future hiring demands.
- Maintain prompt and transparent communication with candidates to ensure a seamless recruitment journey.
- Track and analyze recruitment performance metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hires, offer-to-join ratios, and sourcing effectiveness to refine processes continuously.
- Coach and mentor recruiters, share industry best practices, and drive process enhancements while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and recruitment standards.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise in managing end-to-end talent acquisition within Consulting, Professional Services, IT Services, or Global Capability Centers.
- Strong background in lateral hiring, leadership recruitment, and niche technical or functional talent acquisition.
- Exceptional stakeholder management abilities with influence over senior leadership and hiring managers.
- Hands-on sourcing proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, and direct search techniques.
- Experience in market mapping, talent intelligence gathering, salary benchmarking, and competitor hiring analysis.
- Excellent skills in interviewing, candidate evaluation, offer negotiation, and closing.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Workday, Taleo, SuccessFactors, iCIMS, or equivalents, alongside recruitment analytics.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment metrics, workforce planning, and governance.
- Effective communication, relationship building, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while meeting service level agreements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12–15 years of relevant Talent Acquisition experience, ideally in Consulting, Professional Services, or large enterprises.
- Experience handling both high-volume and strategic hiring across diverse business areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields; MBA or PGDM in HR is advantageous.
- Exposure to working with global teams and stakeholders across different geographies is a plus.
Location and Travel
- Primary workplace is Mumbai.
- Willingness to undertake short- and long-term travel assignments.
