System Administrator

Overview

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to oversee and maintain our IT environment at Stirred Creative Advertising in Bengaluru. This role entails managing Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, AWS cloud services, Sophos Firewall, biometric attendance systems, CCTV security technology, end-user devices including macOS systems, ensuring reliable system functionality and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support the company's IT infrastructure including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and AWS cloud resources.
• Manage Sophos Firewall and oversee network security and access controls.
• Support macOS and other endpoint devices used within the organization.
• Operate and maintain biometric attendance systems (eSSL) and Hikvision CCTV surveillance equipment.
• Ensure system availability by performing regular monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide technical support to resolve issues and incidents quickly to ensure minimal disruption.
• Document IT processes, maintain accurate asset inventories, and implement change management protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in system administration including server and endpoint management across Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting and providing IT support to internal users.
• Networking expertise to manage LAN/WAN configurations, Wi-Fi settings, and network security measures.
• Familiarity with backup strategies, antivirus solutions, endpoint protection, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experienced in managing AWS EC2 instances and configuring appropriate user access and permissions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
