About the Team
The Regional Supply Chain group at Shopee works to deliver a logistics experience that is efficient, dependable, and cost-conscious for e-commerce users. Sitting at the intersection of business, operations, and product, the team focuses on improving delivery speed and reliability through new services and data-led decision-making. Its scope covers the full logistics chain, from the seller journey to last-mile fulfilment, as well as from pre-purchase through order completion. With broad access to operational data, the team digs into issues from first principles to uncover pain points and improve the user experience.
This is an early-career opportunity for self-motivated people who want to grow quickly and develop strong depth in supply chain strategy. The role offers direct exposure to senior leaders, ownership of complex and sometimes unclear problems, and the opportunity to see recommendations implemented in a matter of months. Because each market operates differently and competition is intense, the work is challenging and well suited to someone who wants to be stretched.
Job Description
- Assess existing supply chain and operations workflows to identify ways to lower cost and improve overall performance.
- Carry out detailed market research and analytical work such as modelling, regression, and scenario planning to support strategic planning.
- Partner with teams across Product, Business, and Operations to study performance patterns, test assumptions, and contribute to go-to-market direction.
- Help align business priorities with stakeholders and senior leaders, and prepare materials for discussions at leadership level.
- Turn operational goals into clear action plans with defined next steps, then support execution in the field.
- Track results before and after rollout, spot opportunities for improvement, and adjust the approach as needed.
- Own strategic, cross-functional initiatives and projects end to end, from framing the problem to delivering execution.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required; a master’s degree is a plus but not mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience in management consulting, public policy, public service, supply chain, e-commerce, technology, or another high-performance setting.
- Open to applicants from any background who are genuinely interested in solving difficult problems and who bring a practical, hands-on approach.
- Evidence of handling responsibility beyond typical expectations, such as accelerated progression, leadership or scholarship programmes, or early exposure to complex, high-stakes work.
- Strong ability to convert ideas into executable plans that produce tangible business outcomes.
- Solid numerical and analytical capability, including the ability to spot patterns and use data to guide decisions.
- Able to think strategically while still paying close attention to implementation details.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, especially when influencing senior audiences.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative setting and solving problems with incomplete information and first-principles thinking.
