Job Summary
M/S Green Environmental Technologies is seeking a skilled STP/ETP Operator to manage and maintain sewage and effluent treatment plants in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This full-time role offers a monthly salary ranging from ₹23,000 to ₹25,000, contingent upon experience and expertise. Candidates must bring a minimum of two years relevant experience with a valid experience certificate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain STP/ETP plant machinery and equipment including pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and tanks.
- Ensure plant operating parameters are maintained correctly through diligent oversight.
- Conduct routine inspections, cleanings, and basic maintenance tasks on plant equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Oversee chemical dosing and treatment procedures required for effective plant operation.
- Collect sample specimens and monitor water-quality indicators regularly.
- Record and maintain detailed logs of daily plant operations and maintenance activities.
- Identify operational malfunctions promptly and escalate breakdown reports to supervisory staff.
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and corporate protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in and around the treatment plant facilities.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess at least two years of substantive experience as an STP/ETP Operator or in a similar wastewater treatment capacity.
- Must provide a valid experience certificate documenting previous work experience in this field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and treatment process operations.
- Ability to understand and comply with plant operating instructions and effectively maintain records.
- Strong observational and troubleshooting capabilities.
- A responsible, disciplined approach to duties.
- Willingness and flexibility to work shifts as necessary.
