About the role
Komatsu Australia is looking for a dependable and well-organised Storeperson to support branch operations in Paget, Queensland. This role focuses on handling parts accurately from receipt through to storage and dispatch, so customers receive the correct items in good condition and within required timeframes.
The position suits someone with a sharp eye for detail, who can stay effective in a busy environment, put the customer first, and work confidently both on their own and as part of a high-performing team. A willingness to learn new systems and processes is important.
Work location and roster
Role location: Paget, QLD, Australia.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday on a rotating roster, with two weeks from 7:00am to 3:00pm and two weeks from 8:54am to 5:00pm.
Key responsibilities
- Receive incoming parts and goods for the branch.
- Store inventory correctly and maintain order in the warehouse/store area.
- Prepare and dispatch parts accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure goods sent to customers are correct, in suitable condition, and delivered on time.
- Support day-to-day branch stock handling and related store operations.

What you should bring
- Previous experience in a storeperson role, or a strong interest in working in this field.
- A Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or a trade qualification is highly desirable.
- Willingness to be on call about once every four weeks.
- A forklift licence and manual driver’s licence would be an advantage.
- Ability to carry out physical work and lift heavy items.
- Comfort using computers, with MS Dynamics experience preferred.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
