Role Overview
The Store HR professional is responsible for overseeing HR operations for the assigned store, ensuring smooth human resource functions and compliance with statutory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage store-level HR activities including hiring, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and payroll administration.
- Handle documentation and policy compliance for both DMart and third-party employees.
- Maintain liaison with managerial staff and external government authorities to ensure all legal and statutory regulations are met.
- Drive employee retention strategies through effective engagement, training, and development initiatives.
- Continuously identify and address gaps in HR implementation, coaching and guiding the team to improve performance.
- Demonstrate strong process orientation and ensure timely delivery of HR services.
- Monitor HR processes regularly to maintain high quality and accuracy in all tasks.
- Work collaboratively within the team, applying pragmatic problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Adapt to fast-paced work environments as a self-motivated professional with focus on people, processes, and organizational priorities.
Eligibility and Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR roles combined with excellent communication skills. A thorough understanding of HR policies, procedures, and statutory labor laws is essential.
