SQL Developer (Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely from any location. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SQL-based solutions that support data-driven decision-making and enhance business insights.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries to efficiently extract, transform, and load data.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers required for business applications.
• Work alongside data analysts and engineers to guarantee accurate and timely provision of data.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance issues to improve system reliability.
• Maintain thorough documentation for database schemas, data models, and query logic to assist team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with database design concepts, including indexing and partitioning techniques.
• Knowledge of transactional and analytical database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Ability to produce clean, maintainable, and scalable SQL code.
• Experience using version control tools like Git to manage database schema changes.

Additional Information

This contract position provides a flexible work schedule, allowing you to work from any location. You will be contributing to data infrastructure and analytics initiatives that support a global leader in Software Development. The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $25 to $60.
