About InDigital
InDigital is a performance marketing agency specializing in the growth of Irish service businesses in sectors such as home improvement, construction, and property. We focus on delivering genuine leads that convert into real jobs, prioritizing tangible client results over superficial metrics. Our approach blends impactful marketing with a fun, team-oriented culture.
Role Overview
We are bringing our video content creation in-house and need a dedicated Social Content Creator to lead this function. You'll be responsible for conceiving ideas, shooting on location, and editing videos—all while collaborating closely with our paid media team to test and optimize content for maximum client impact. The role requires you to work on-site at client installations and renovations, producing authentic content that drives leads and sales, rather than chasing fleeting viral trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing creative concepts and scripts for client videos based on research.
- Organizing shoot plans including detailed shot lists and location scouting.
- Independently filming on-site at various client locations, capturing installations, interviews, process footage, and before-and-after shots.
- Editing videos swiftly using Premiere Pro or similar software, producing multiple variations with hooks, titles, and captions designed for social media testing.
- Designing effective video hooks and openers aimed at engaging viewers and measuring their performance.
- Capturing photographs during shoots for use in advertisements, social channels, and Google profiles.
- Taking full ownership of content from inception through posting and analysis.
- Collaborating with the paid media team to review content performance data and refine future edits accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 2 years of professional experience in on-site videography and editing, working with agencies, in-house teams, or as a freelancer.
- A portfolio demonstrating experience filming real-world business environments including talking heads, real sites, and vertical short-form videos.
- A deep understanding of social media content dynamics and the psychology behind effective hooks.
- Ability to independently handle shoots and ease nervous clients on camera.
- Expertise in camera operation, ensuring steady footage, appropriate lighting, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in fast-paced social-first video editing incorporating compelling hooks, captions, and multiple content versions.
- Possession of a valid full driving licence and access to personal transportation.
- No formal degree is required; capability and experience take priority.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging between €40,000 and €50,000.
- Hybrid work setup with on-location shooting and flexible editing locations, including regular days at our Dublin office.
- 25 days of annual leave plus early finish on Fridays.
- Company pension scheme and performance-based bonuses.
- Training budget, MacBook provision, and necessary camera equipment supplied.
- Clear progression opportunities and significant creative ownership within a growing agency.
Additional Information
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland as we cannot offer visa sponsorship. Application requires submitting a portfolio along with LinkedIn profile and a brief explanation of your fit for the role. Confirm your driving licence status and vehicle ownership. Final candidates will participate in an in-person practical assessment working on a real client project to demonstrate skills.
