Shipping and Logistics Administrator - Chemical Manufacturing

Position Overview

We are seeking a capable Shipping and Logistics Administrator to oversee daily shipping and logistics functions at a chemical manufacturing facility located in the western region of Singapore. This role places emphasis on precise documentation, coordination across teams, and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify all necessary shipping documentation including Invoice, Delivery Order, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Coordinate and monitor local and international shipments via sea, air, and courier services.
• Serve as the point of contact with freight forwarders, transporters, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to customs regulations, export/import laws, and Dangerous Goods shipping requirements.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse personnel to guarantee prompt shipment dispatch.
• Maintain accurate shipment and inventory records using ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of two years’ experience in shipping, logistics, or administrative roles, preferably within manufacturing or chemical sectors.
• Familiarity with import/export processes and Dangerous Goods shipping documentation is beneficial.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and common administrative software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Additional Information

• Location: West Singapore, within the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Working schedule includes 5.5 days per week, with alternate Saturdays off.
• Compensation ranges from SGD 2,500 to SGD 3,000 per month.
