Ship Management Assurance Officer

Job Overview

This position requires a comprehensive understanding of commercial processes and documentation within marine transportation of LNG and Hydrocarbon Products, primarily from a Charterer or Seller perspective.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong expertise in commercial procedures related to marine transport of hydrocarbon products.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders through effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Utilize computer skills including MS Office applications.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the marine industry encompassing vetting, operations, terminals, incident investigations, and other marine functions.
• Possession of Class 1 Marine Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner or Chief Engineer) or a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marine Studies, or a related field.
• Preferred certification as a lead auditor.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
