About the Role

As a Service Sales Specialist reporting to the Service Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving service sales processes, generating opportunities, and achieving profitable results by focusing on the installed base. Your key responsibility will be to sell the full spectrum of ABB's service products, build enduring customer relationships, and promptly address customer needs and concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Deeply penetrate the installed base, promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions beneficial to both customers and ABB.
- Understand and implement channel strategies, including pricing setups, devising sales plans, and developing recovery plans as necessary.
- Generate new service sales leads and uncover market opportunities by analyzing market trends and identifying new service portfolio possibilities.
- Represent ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing events such as campaigns, trade exhibitions, conferences, and direct customer meetings.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Full-time degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6 to 9 years of experience specifically selling services related to low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) switchgear.
- Practical experience in driving sales of service contracts, spare parts, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Capability to generate enquiries, prepare cost estimates, submit proposals, secure orders, and engage clients through calls, seminars, and webinars.
- Strong product knowledge of LV switchgear including Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and Low Tension (LT) Panels, with willingness to acquire further training on MV switchgear (Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Ring Main Units (RMU), and Control and Switchgears (CSS)).
- Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities, with readiness for extensive travel and building long-term client bonds.
