The University of Auckland is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for a fixed-term full-time role within the Product Engineering team. Reporting to the Digital Test Manager, this role is essential for ensuring solutions meet high standards of quality and reliability, delivering superior digital outcomes university-wide. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive quality assurance activities independently throughout project lifecycles, from initiation to delivery.
  • Implement and adhere to industry-standard QA best practices.
  • Conduct QA testing on all applications and solutions developed and maintained by the Delivery Team.
  • Engage in every phase of the Software Development Lifecycle to verify that deliverables meet intended business requirements and are fit for purpose.
  • Support and validate integrations between enterprise platforms, including Workday and other HR/payroll systems.

Additional Information

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), 12-month fixed-term role, offering a salary between NZD 105,701 and NZD 121,900 depending on skills and experience. The position is located at the Newmarket Campus with occasional work at the City Campus. Flexible working arrangements are available based on business necessities.
