Join Capgemini, a global leader in business and technology transformation, as a Senior Technical Writer specializing in Structural Repair Manuals (SRM). The India branch includes nearly 175,000 professionals across multiple locations including Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and validate Structural Repair Publications using XML authoring tools.
- Analyze and integrate engineering drawings, stress analysis, and repair schemes into documentation.
- Develop content following Airbus standards and use S1000D protocols where applicable.
- Ensure data module accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality standards through self and peer reviews.
- Collaborate closely with Stress, Design, Engineering, Quality, and Configuration Management teams, and customer technical contacts.
- Support audits, facilitate customer reviews, and conduct impact assessments of document changes.
- Manage document revisions, effectivity dates, and traceability in ASRP/CSDB environments.
Required Technical Skills
- Practical experience with ASRP authoring tools.
- Sound understanding of aircraft structures including metallic and composite materials.
- Knowledge of repair techniques, material limits, and relevant materials including fasteners, sealants, and corrosion protection.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, stress notes, and repair dispositions.
- Familiarity with CSDB systems and controlled authoring environments.
Domain Expertise
- Fundamental principles of aircraft structural repair and industry best practices.
- Understanding of the aircraft maintenance documentation lifecycle.
- Awareness of aerospace regulatory requirements and OEM documentation standards.
Educational Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
