Key Responsibilities

• Deliver property claim outcomes promptly, surpassing customer expectations throughout each claim’s lifecycle.
• Collaborate with claimants, contractors, and stakeholders to expedite decision-making and optimize claim resolution timelines.
• Evaluate indemnity, liability, and validity of claims, ensuring thorough review of building and remediation scopes and costs.
• Assess remediation and make-safe claim matters accurately.
• Analyze damage cause reports, including geotechnical and structural engineering assessments.
• Identify defects and non-compliance in repairs by applying Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.

Candidate Profile

• Possess Building Trade qualifications or Loss Assessor certification accredited by ANZIIF.
• Have considerable experience in property assessment and customer service roles within insurance.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of insurance and loss assessment principles.
• Effectively plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and competing demands.
• Showcase proficiency with software systems, databases, reporting, and communication tools relevant to the role.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
