Role Overview
Join STARK Resources as a Senior Process Engineer to contribute to pioneering mining projects through innovative process design, ore sorting advancement, mineral processing optimization, and practical engineering solutions. Unlike traditional office roles, this position emphasizes work at early project stages, spanning concept studies, test work, project growth, and plant implementation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful engineer will be responsible for evaluating mineral deposits, managing metallurgical testing initiatives, developing and refining process flowsheets, analyzing ore sorting technologies, supporting pilot programs, and aiding in project rollout from initial concept through to commissioning. Regular collaboration with labs, equipment manufacturers, EPCM firms, and mining operators globally will also be integral.
Candidate Profile
We seek a technically proficient, pragmatic, and business-savvy professional who can take charge of workstreams and client interactions confidently. Background in gold, base metals, lithium, rare earths, industrial minerals, or broader mineral processing is highly desirable.
Work Location and Travel
This role is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, but requires international travel to client locations, laboratories, OEM sites, and mining operations worldwide.
