Overview
We are seeking a Senior Planner to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. This role requires managing and developing detailed construction programmes to support various projects and bids. The Senior Planner will lead a team, maintain project schedules, collaborate with stakeholders, and represent the planning function in meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create bid programmes that effectively support bid submissions.
- Develop, update, and review comprehensive master construction schedules and project control procedures for ongoing projects.
- Present project progress reports to senior management regularly.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of ambitious engineers.
- Maintain account management for existing clients, fostering enduring partnerships.
- Engage in business development efforts with new clients.
- Take full ownership of assigned projects and assist other projects as needed.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Establish and maintain schedules across pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring accurate progress reporting.
- Serve as the planning representative during client and subcontractor meetings.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Have at least five years experience in the construction sector, preferably with main contractor exposure.
- Proficient with programming software and Building Information Modelling (BIM); experience with Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6 is highly favored.
- Demonstrate autonomy, proactivity, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong management capabilities including communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven team player with experience in managing large-scale environments.
- Must hold an Irish Passport or hold a Stamp 4 visa.
- Residency within Ireland is required.
