Key Responsibilities

  • Manage several sub-projects concurrently within the acute and emergency care digitalisation programme.
  • Develop or adjust a resilient, adaptable, and integrated IT service infrastructure that supports updated business processes, meeting explicit objectives for cost-effectiveness, user adoption, scalability, and compliance with data protection and information security standards.
  • Oversee tendering and procurement procedures, including managing third-party vendors.
  • Maintain continuous coordination with business stakeholders, programme management teams, and external collaborators.
  • Establish conditions for the ongoing operation and support of IT services, including training internal IT personnel and end users.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluency in German at a native or professional level is mandatory, as all project communications and interviews are conducted in German.
  • At least five years of experience managing complex IT projects involving extensive integration and collaboration between business and IT stakeholders.
  • Between two and five years of professional experience within the German public healthcare system, such as involvement with physicians' associations, emergency care organizations, statutory health insurance entities, telematics, emergency dispatch services, or related institutions.
  • Residency in Bavaria or neighboring regions, able to work onsite in Munich one day weekly with travel expenses reimbursed.
  • Work must be executed within the European Union; delivery from outside the EU is not permitted.
  • Availability starting 1 October 2026.
  • Willingness to provide a recent (within six weeks of signing) German certificate of conduct (Führungszeugnis) free of any entries.
