Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Senior Executive to oversee the Accounts Receivable department. This role involves managing invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and ensuring prompt payment receipt to maintain healthy company cash flows and support financial operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce and send accurate customer invoices punctually.
- Track accounts to identify overdue payments promptly.
- Conduct follow-ups with clients regarding unpaid invoices through email or other written communications.
- Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger to verify all payments are recorded and applied correctly.
- Review client contracts carefully prior to billing.
- Keep comprehensive records of all billing, collection, and payment transactions.
- Work collaboratively with sales and customer service to resolve any billing disputes or discrepancies.
- Process and record incoming payments, including bank transfers and checks, accurately.
- Prepare and examine AR aging reports and escalate problematic accounts as necessary.
- Assist in completing month-end closing procedures related to Accounts Receivable.
- Provide support for both internal and external audit processes.
- Manage the creation of Customer master data within the ERP system.
- Compile schedules related to revenue each month, including Accounts Receivable aging, Work-In-Progress/Unbilled revenue, Unearned revenue, Rate Cards, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of Revenue Reconciliation and Intercompany Billing practices.
- Aggregate Revenue data from operations and report figures to management.
- Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to fulfill urgent tasks or meet client deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Between four and five years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar accounting roles.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Additional Information
