About the Role
Hire Feed is seeking seasoned DevOps professionals for a fully remote, flexible contract opportunity working on an AI training initiative centered on Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role entails developing detailed engineering-ticket-style prompts, configuring local AWS mock environments, and creating exemplary infrastructure solutions with automated end-to-end testing. Ideal candidates are senior-level practitioners with expertise in cloud infrastructure tools, looking for project-based, asynchronous remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Compose natural language prompts that simulate real engineering tickets, embedding realistic ambiguities and contextual professionalism to challenge AI in real-world scenarios.
- Set up and manage LocalStack sandboxes, facilitating AWS environment emulation for validating infrastructure configurations.
- Develop initial infrastructure states along with "golden solutions" that successfully pass automated end-to-end testing, serving as benchmarks.
- Maintain a high-quality standard for task content; simplistic or poorly formatted tasks will be rejected.
- Assess AI-generated responses to infrastructure queries by selecting the most accurate among alternatives.
- Create foundational prompts to assist AI model development.
Qualifications
- Senior-level experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering roles is mandatory.
- Demonstrated professional proficiency with at least one core IaC platform: AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), or CloudFormation considered high priority; familiarity with Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus.
- Strong infrastructure scripting and testing skills using one or more languages among TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Effective written communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex technical topics under strict style rules.

- Work is fully remote with freedom to set your own schedule based on project availability, typically ranging between 5 to 10 hours per week, up to 40 hours.
- Free access to state-of-the-art AI tools such as GPT and Claude, valued over $200 per month, is provided at no cost.
Compensation and Payment
- Earn up to $50 USD per hour, with additional incentives depending on expertise and project specifics.
- Payments are processed through PayPal and AirTM.
